Like many of the images it shows how alcohol takes money from families which creates a cycle of poverty in these users. Her father has to decide on whether he should spend his money on alcohol or shoes for his daughter while he's holding his paycheck. It could also be a critique as well that alcohol can cause a person to become more selfish and uncaring. Since what kind of person decides to withhold money on the family while they are in need and use it on their addiction instead.
Description
A young daughter is holding her father. He has to make the decision to spend all his money at the saloon or get the shoes that his daughter needs. He is only looking at the alcohol even though his daughter is holding him tightly.
