The theme of this comic is to show that alcohol’s true victims are often not the drinkers themselves, but their families. It highlights how wives, children, and parents suffer deeply due to a husband’s, father’s, or son’s alcoholism. By spending all their money on alcohol instead of household needs, drinkers put women and children at risk leaving them vulnerable to poverty, illness, violent abuse, and the instability of living with an addict.
Description
Displays some of the many victims of those who drink. Mothers and children are heavily effected since they depended onto fathers who drank. Or it also shows a mother who had lost her son due the abuse of alcohol, and killed him.
